Hot, vibrant and brimming with culture, Sevilla is my favourite Andalusian weekend break and the city in Spain I visit the most. I’ve already written an Andalusia Accommodation Guide including a list of places I’ve actually stayed in the region, but I thought it was about time we got up and personal with Seville’s charming neighbourhoods and gorgeous stays.
HOW TO SPEND 24 HOURS IN SEVILLE
ANDALUSIA’S BEST PUEBLOS BLANCOS
Planning a trip to Spain? You’re in the right place! Welcome to Travel Planning and Itinerary design by Candy. Hola! I’m an independent travel advisor living in Portugal (since 2016). I help people plan their dream trip to Portugal, Spain and Italy. You’re currently reading a post from my collection of travel guides. I also offer personal travel consultation and a bespoke itinerary service.
Not only do I visit the city every few months, I also plan Seville and Andalusia trips for dozens of couples and families every year. Whatever month it is, you can guarantee Ive spent some of it seeking the best accommodation for my clients and plotting memorable trips. Naturally, I’ve built up my own wish list of hotels, apartments and unique stays. Since there is not enough time in the world for me to stay in all of them, I may as well share them with you.

Human Travel Planning. No AI here.
What you see & read here is REAL. I don’t use ChatGP or other AI to write my travel guides or design itineraries. Travel is a human experience that requires all of the senses. It is impossible for AI to replicate that. Working with a human travel planner means working with someone who understands that travel is a highly unique and personal experience, not a ‘copy and paste’ job. All travel guides have been written by me from my own personal experiences. All the photos on this website are taken myself during my own travel. Nothing has been created using AI so you can trust what you are seeing actually exists.
How long to spend in Seville
Seville is one of those cities that you can fit a lot into a day but deserves more time. 4 days is a good number to allow you to see and experience without filling every hour of the day. If you have a week you can take a day trip around the Pueblos Blancos or visit Córdoba, Jerez de la Frontera or Cadiz.

Best areas to stay in Seville : Which neighbourhood ?
This is where we need to start because there are lots of different corners of Seville each with their own personality. I’m not going to bore you with every neighbourhood in this post but there are two main considerations.
Where to Stay in Triana
My favourite neighbourhood to stay because it feels like it’s own town and has a really local atmosphere, yet it’s just a short walk over the bridge to the main sites and action. It’s also great for traditional tapas bars and late night flamenco.
- Hotel Boutique Triana House €€ one of the best boutique hotels I’ve found so far; the decor is so fun!
- Casa Pureza € the balcony rooms are lovely and the hotel has unique details
- Zenit €€ 4 star hotel, cosy rooms, rooftop pool
- Magno € 2 bedroom apartment
- Women only stay € great for solo travellers

Where to stay in Santa Cruz / Alfalfa
This is in the heart of the action and historic centre where your architectural neighbours are likely very old and very beautiful. Great for first timers. I’ve stayed in/around Santa Cruz several times, and for a first visit I’d choose it if being able to walk everywhere is your priority.

Best Luxury Hotels in Seville
This isn’t true of every city n Spain but Seville does Luxury well.
- Cavalta Boutique €€€ (Triana) small luxury hotel, modern rooms, historic building
- Hotel Alfonso XIII €€€ The best splurge in the city. Special occassion? Stay here.
- Casa Palacio Don Ramón €€€ Transport me there now.

Where to Stay in Seville for a Romantic Getaway
Andalusia is all about passion, and there is nowhere that is more true than Seville. It’s the perfect city for couples, with cosy rooftops, underground flamenco and sharing plates. These are the best spots for a romantic stay.
- Hotel Casa del Poeta €€€
- Zenit €€ 4 star hotel, cosy rooms, rooftop pool
- Palacio Villapanés €€€
- Hotel Colón €€€
Where to stay on a budget in Seville
Seville is one of the cheaper cities in Spain for accommodation. Here are a few options for less than €120 a night (and a few highly rated hostels too)
- Sierpes Boutique €
- The Lofthouse Hostel
- La Banda Living Hostel
- Apartment Alameda Centre
- Black Swan Hostel €
- One bed apartment €
